San Francisco County Transportation Authority has authorized $1 million to fund the Golden Gate Greenway project in the Tenderloin district.
The project aims to close lanes on a block of Golden Gate Avenue to create green space and improve pedestrian safety.
The temporary implementation of the Golden Gate Greenway during the pandemic received support from the community and is now being made permanent. [ more ]
